Bronson Reed undergoing surgery on Wednesday for broken foot

Bronson Reed is in Birmingham, Alabama to undergo surgery for the injury he suffered at WWE Survivor Series.

On Tuesday night, Reed made a post on social media revealing that he will be undergoing surgery for his broken foot today (Wednesday, December 11). The injury happened in the men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series when Reed attempted to deliver a Tsunami off the top of the cage. He landed feet-first on the way down as CM Punk saved Roman Reigns from being hit with the move.

Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Radio this week that Reed is currently expected to miss WrestleMania 41 due to the injury.

“I believe that in this business, you have to keep evolving. This is just another time to do so,” Reed tweeted on Monday. “Your outlook on situations can make or break you. My spirit is unbreakable.”

Reed partnered with the New Bloodline in WarGames, teaming with Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa & Jacob Fatu in a loss to Reigns, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Sami Zayn & Punk.

Birmingham is home to the Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center, one of the top facilities in the world for athletes to undergo surgery.
