WWE officially confirms location for John Cena’s final match

The location for John Cena’s final match has been announced.
It will take place on Saturday, December 13 at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event at Monumental Sports & Entertainment’s Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. The news was officially announced by WWE and Paul “Triple H” Levesque on Tuesday, confirming a WrestleVotes report from earlier this month.
“The last time really is now. @JohnCena’s final match is set for #SNME in Washington, D.C. on December 13. Get your tickets on Oct. 17 because after this…you can’t see him.”
WWE published a press release announcing the news:
“John’s contributions to WWE are immeasurable. There are no words that can truly relay how much he means to this business,” said WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque. “Together with our partners at Events DC and Capital One Arena, we look forward to honoring his legacy and delivering an unforgettable send-off for both John and the WWE Universe.”

Gates, President and CEO of Events DC. “We are excited to welcome WWE fans from our city and around the globe to witness an unforgettable final showdown in our nation’s capital. Ticket for the show go on-sale October 17.
Additionally, the night before The Undertaker’s will presents a live episode of his “Six Feet Under with The Undertaker” podcast from The Howard Theatre on Friday, December 12.
Cena is down to his final five appearances as part of his retirement tour. His next scheduled match is against AJ Styles at WWE Crown Jewel in Perth, Australia on October 11. He’s also scheduled for the November 10 WWE Raw in Boston, the November 17 Raw in New York, and WWE Survivor Series on November 29 in San Diego, which will be his last appearance before his final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13.
