CM Punk announced for WWE Elimination Chamber

CM Punk will be in Australia next month for WWE Elimination Chamber.

WWE announced via Fox Sports Australia on Saturday that Punk will return to Australia for the first time in over ten years as part of the Saturday, February 24 Elimination Chamber event in Perth.

Punk returned to WWE at Survivor Series in November 2023 after nearly a decade away from the company. Since returning, he has yet to wrestle on television, but did face Dominik Mysterio on two house shows as part of WWE’s Holiday Tour last month.

Punk is one of five wrestlers who have declared for the men’s Royal Rumble match taking place on Saturday, January 27.

The Elimination Chamber is WWE’s final premium live event before WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia on April 6 & April 7.

Other WWE stars booked for the Elimination Chamber show include current Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, and current United States Champion Logan Paul.

One wrestler not booked for Australia is Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, as reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
