CM Punk responds to John Cena’s ‘pipe bomb’ promo on WWE SmackDown

The final confrontation between CM Punk and John Cena on Friday’s Night of Champions go-home edition of WWE SmackDown from Saudi Arabia was a rap, and not by who’d you expect.
SmackDown’s final segment on Friday saw John Cena in the ring when suddenly ‘Word Life’ played. Punk came out wearing clothes similar to Cena’s from early in his career. He proceeded to rap, saying that since Cena stole his ‘pipe bomb’ promo last week, he would steal Word Life. Punk proceeded to call Cena a “Temu Macklemore” and accused him of burying “more talent than The Undertaker.”
Punk told Cena that he was a “fish belly white” Hulk Hogan but somehow more problematic. While he may be a superhero, he’ll always be ‘The Marine’ to him, straight to DVD. He finished by telling Cena that at Night at Champions there will be one more wish to make as Punk was the Kendrick to Cena’s Drake.
Friday’s promo continued the feud between the two leading to tomorrow’s Night of Champions, where Punk will challenge Cena for the WWE title. Last week saw Cena attack Punk and took the opportunity to mimic Punk’s ‘pipe bomb’ promo, ending the show by thanking Punk for letting him rip off his promo to make him look even more foolish.
