CM Punk reveals his next non-WWE project

CM Punk WWE

Following his departure from WWE over a decade ago in 2014, CM Punk took on several non-wrestling projects including, acting, writing comics, and starting his career as a UFC fighter. While Punk did not taste success in UFC, he got his break in acting. Recently, appearing on My Mom’s Basement to promote his upcoming movie Night Patrol, Punk opened up in detail about his next non-WWE project, a chance to direct a film.

It’s been offered. It’s one of those things, a lot like writing comic books or fighting in the UFC that, it was offered to me and it’s kind of unknown and scary, so now I have to do it. I think the VHS series is a pretty good way to get my feet wet in that regard,” Punk continued. “It’s definitely something that is more than likely going to happen in the next year. I got to, it got offered to me, and I went ‘what why me?’ ‘Why not?’ Okay, now I’ve gotta do this.

Since starring in his first film in 2013, Punk has starred in a total of seven films, with his latest being Zootopia 2, as well as several other television shows.
