CM Punk thinks he is not retiring ‘anytime soon’
After John Cena retired in late 2025 and AJ Styles in early 2026, CM Punk recently answered the questions surrounding his possible retirement timeline.
Appearing on No Contest Wrestling with TJ Henderson and O’Shea Jackson Jr, Punk opened up and claimed that he does not plan to retire “anytime soon.”
“With me, I really don’t know. I almost don’t like talking about it because I don’t think it’s going to be anytime soon. The way our business is, I like to keep some things shrouded in secrecy and mystery. We’ll have to wait and see,” Punk said.
“I’m just trying to keep myself in one piece because I feel like I’m on the run of my life. I feel I’m doing the best work I’ve ever done. Why would I want to step away from that now?“
Punk, 47, is currently the reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion and is involved in an active feud with both Finn Balor and the 2026 Royal Rumble winner Roman Reigns on RAW, leading upto WrestleMania 42.
