CM Punk appears in UFC promotional video looking in great shape

CM Punk UFC Rivals Promo

There have been a lot of rumors surrounding CM Punk in recent weeks, but what we do know 100% is that he has been working extremely hard in the gym. Ahead of his expected return to WWE programming, the former WWE Champion appeared in an Instagram promotional video for UFC Rivals, and he looks absolutely jacked.

We do not know exactly when the promo was filmed, but it does appear to have been cut in the past few weeks, based on the new look of the straight edge star. UFC Rivals is set to air with back to back episodes on Sunday (June 21) at 8 p.m. ET, with CM Punk, Miesha Tate, Michael Bisping and Ken Shamrock all featuring on the panel.

CM Punk WWE Return

There is currently no official return date for Punk to WWE programming, but F4WOnline’s own Dave Meltzer recently reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that he would likely be heading to the SmackDown brand:

The plan right now is for him [CM Punk] to return on Smackdown, which is basically a balancing act. The belief is with Raw having Reigns, Rollins, The Usos, Fatu, Femi, Logan Paul and Breakker that Punk made more sense on Smackdown with a top tier of Rhodes, Gunther, Ripley and soon to be Punk, Orton and McIntyre. Plus Rhodes vs. Punk has been a direction. The return date of 7/6 Raw in Chicago makes sense, although that is a Raw date, not Smackdown, but that’s really not material in the sense Chicago does make sense for him to appear.
