Cody Rhodes appears on WWE Raw, comments on men's Money in the Bank match

Cody Rhodes appeared on Raw tonight, discussing Saturday’s Money in the Bank ladder match.

Rhodes, who appeared via video, said that as a result of Seth Rollins attacking him with a sledgehammer on Raw, he would be out nine months. He praised this year’s men’s Money in the Bank ladder match, putting over the likes of Omos, Drew McIntyre, Sami Zayn, and Sheamus. He then turned his attention to Rollins, mentioning how successful Rollins has been in the past cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase. He ended the promo by saying he isn’t rooting for anyone, but if Rollins wins, he would want to be the first to congratulate him.

Rhodes tore his pectoral muscle just days before Hell in a Cell earlier this month while working out. Despite the injury, he worked Hell in a Cell with bruising clearly visible on his chest and arm. He won the match, defeating Rollins. The next night on Raw, Rollins had seemingly made amends with Rhodes. However, as Rhodes was walking to the back, Rollins attacked him with the sledgehammer.
