Cody Rhodes purchases, donates wrestling ring to SGW Uganda
WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes recently purchased and donated a wrestling ring to SGW Uganda.
In a recent social media update by SGW (Soft Ground Wrestling) Uganda, it was announced that WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes donated a wrestling to them after purchasing it himself.
“Huge thank you to Cody Rhodes for purchasing and donating our wrestling ring to SGW! The ring is now being used to train and develop the next generation of wrestlers in Uganda. Your support is making a real difference.”
Previously promised by Rhodes, the most promising and positive update for SGW has now become true, as Rhodes has purchased them their own pro-wrestling ring.
The SGW promotion in Uganda earned massive popularity and became a talking point on social media for its wrestling match clips. The promotion generally had its wrestling on soft mud ground. However, with Rhodes’ donation now, things have already started changing for the small promotion in the East African country.
A couple of years ago, Will Ospreay had also reportedly donated around $2000 to SGW to help them continue their promotion.
