Creed Brothers crowned WWE Tag Team title number one contenders
The Creed Brothers are the new number one contenders to the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship.
Julius Creed & Brutus Creed won a Tag Team Turmoil gauntlet match on Monday’s Raw to claim the number one contendership, outlasting five other teams to earn the next shot at Finn Balor & Damian Priest’s Undisputed Tag titles.
No date has been announced to this point for the Balor & Priest vs. The Creeds Tag Team title bout.
Monday’s Tag Team Turmoil gauntlet began with DIY’s Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa defeating Otis & Akira Tozawa of Alpha Academy. DIY also eliminated Indus Sher’s Veer Mahaan & Sanga from the match. The Creeds then eliminated DIY, Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods of The New Day, and finally Imperium’s Giovanni Vinci & Ludwig Kaiser to win the contest.
Alongside Ivy Nile, The Creeds officially joined the WWE Raw roster on the November 6 episode with a contract signing segment backstage. Prior to that, the Diamond Mine unit won both the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and the NXT Tag Team titles on that brand.
