Dave Meltzer on the latest developments in Janel Grant vs. Vince McMahon & WWE
The attorneys for Janel Grant filed their latest arguments regarding different claims and statements made in recent weeks by attorneys for Vince McMahon, WWE and John Laurinaitis.
The key claims are that Grant’s side added new things to the lawsuit that weren’t in the initial suit and that the new claims should be thrown out, claiming the new claims were done for more media coverage that has led to prejudice against Vince McMahon and more reputational harm. They also complained that the delay in filing the new complaint was too long and that the SEC investigation has nothing to do with the case, nor does Dr. Carlon Colker, who was brought into the case with the amended lawsuit.
