Dominik Mysterio appears to be in concussion protocol following AAA Rey de Reyes
Dominik Mysterio is not medically cleared.
Bryan Alvarez is reporting that the original match set for Raw was Dominik Mysterio facing Dragon Lee. However, it turned into a Intercontinental title match between Penta and Dragon Lee due to Mysterio possibly suffering a concussion.
“Dom vs. Dragon Lee was scheduled for Raw but it appears Dom is in concussion protocol,” he writes.
It was announced during Raw that following his match at Rey de Reyes this past weekend, Dominik Mysterio was not medically cleared and as a result, did not appear on Monday’s show where he and the rest of the Judgment Day were to appear and explain their actions after assaulting Finn Balor and kicking him out of the group.
Liv Morgan instead appeared in a video explaining that it was always her plan to kick Balor out of the group since she joined, saying he was never in charge and was always on borrowed time. She knew he was scheming so it was a pleasure to watch him fall from grace. She said that without Finn, the Judgement Day were better than ever.
At Rey de Reyes, Dominik Mysterio defeated El Hijo de Vikingo to retain the AAA Mega title. As a result, Vikingo can never again challenge for the Mega title while Mysterio holds if. If Mysterio had lost, he would have to leave AAA forever.
