Drew McIntyre vs. Murphy set for Monday’s WWE Raw

Ahead of his title defense at Money in the Bank, WWE Champion Drew McIntyre will be in action against a disciple of Seth Rollins on Raw’s go-home show for the pay-per-view.

WWE has announced that a non-title match between McIntyre and Murphy will air on Monday’s episode of Raw. McIntyre is defending his title against Rollins at Money in the Bank on Sunday, May 10.

A contract signing for McIntyre and Rollins’ WWE title match at Money in the Bank was the main event segment of Raw this past Monday. Murphy got involved in the contract signing after things turned physical. As McIntyre was going to give Rollins a Claymore Kick, Murphy appeared and attacked McIntyre. Rollins hugged Murphy, then McIntyre flew in with a Claymore and ended up hitting Murphy.

Rollins then bailed after that, with McIntyre asking if Murphy was his sacrificial lamb.

A last chance gauntlet match is also set to air on Raw’s go-home show for Money in the Bank. It will determine the final participant for this year’s men’s MITB ladder match. Plus, Raw Tag Team Champions The Street Profits will face off with The Viking Raiders on the episode in what appears to be a non-title match.
