It was recently reported that Hijo del Vikingo had suffered an injury and could be out of action for some time. In a new report from PWInsider, we now know that the injury occurred to Vikingo’s knee, which has been a recurring issue for him in recent years:

PWInsider.com can confirm the injury is to Vikingo’s knee and we are told by WWE sources they are awaiting MRI results to learn the severity of the issue. Vikingo, the lone AAA talent signed directly to a WWE contract currently, was out of action for an extended period several years ago with knee issues.
