Eric Bischoff calls The Bloodline angle “the best storyline that’s ever been produced in the industry”

Jacob Fatu | WWE Raw

Former WCW President and Executive Director of WWE SmackDown Eric Bischoff recently gave The Bloodline angle some massive praise. Speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast, Easy E claimed that The Bloodline storyline is the greatest that the pro wrestling industry has ever produced:

“I think The Bloodline storyline is absolutely the best storyline that’s ever been produced, written and produced, in this industry. Nothing’s even close. That doesn’t mean it’ll have the same impact on the industry that NWO did, for a lot of other reasons that have nothing to do with the quality of the story.”

Bischoff would also warn that The Bloodline angle that worked during the pandemic and before TKO became the parent company of WWE might not be the same under “committee” in 2026. With Jacob Fatu re-joining Roman Reigns and The Usos, it does look like the company are trying to re-tread what worked previously:

“If you can get to that point and this writing team, that we’ve seen do great work, does what they’re capable of doing, then I think this can be a phenomenal way of utilizing The Bloodline. A camel is a horse that’s created by committee. Meaning, if you’re going to create based on a lot of input from different people, because corporately that’s kind of like the cool thing to do, be inclusive, you’re going to get a lot of opinions, and you’re going to make a lot of compromises along the way, and your core instincts are going to get diluted and watered down. But I do think that WWE will get through this hump with TKO. I think creative will settle into a rhythm and things will be just fine. And if I’m right, The [new] Bloodline [angle] could be really, really good.”
