Five-on-five elimination match booked for November 28 WWE SmackDown
A traditional five-on-five Survivor Series-style elimination match is on tap for the Friday, November 28 WWE SmackDown.
The match was born out of an angle on this week’s SmackDown episode where Sami Zayn was confronted by Solo Sikoa and the MFTs. Sikoa said that he wasn’t going to attack Zayn until he was medically cleared, but Zayn revealed that not only had he been cleared, but that he brought backup to handle the MFTs.
Shinsuke Nakamura, Rey Fenix, and Motor City Machine Guns came to Zayn’s aid in fighting off the MFTs, and SmackDown GM Nick Aldis booked a five-on-five match between the sides for the November 28 SmackDown, the Survivor Series go-home show.
