The former Summer Sorrell is now part of Banana Ball, the exhibition baseball league featuring the Savannah Bananas.

The league consists of six teams, the newest of which are the Loco Beach Coconuts and the Indianapolis Clowns, which debuted in the 2026 season. Sorrell revealed recently on social media that she is the newest “lifeguard” for the tropical and beach-themed Coconuts team.

Sorrell wrote:

“SURPRISE!!!🥥 Meet @BananaBall_’s newest lifeguard🛟”

Sorrell also posted a short vlog about her first day on the job with Banana Ball and explained more about her role.

“I got hired as a lifeguard/acrobat, so not only am I going to be traveling with the team and going to all their games, but you may want to tune in because you might just see me be a part of them too. Not playing baseball, of course. I’m gonna leave that to the professionals for now. But there are other ways to be a part of the game and I’ll just leave it at that for now.”

Sorrell joined WWE after a tryout held during SummerSlam week in 2024. She made her in-ring debut on an episode of EVOLVE taped on April 4, 2025, in a loss to Wendy Choo. She also wrestled five times on episodes of WWE LFG before being released in October 2025. She would later publish a statement regarding her departure from the company, stating that she had fallen in love with wrestling, but cited an “ongoing injury.”

“The reality is that I struggled with the same ongoing injury during a majority of my time at the performance center. This held me back from ever being able to show my true potential in the ring,” she said. “Knowing that I only got the opportunity to show you a small fraction of what I am capable of is what is hurting me the most.”

Sorrell married NXT wrestler Kale Dixon in a ceremony held on February 27, 2026.

Real name Karyn Best, she was a track and field athlete at Concordia University Irvine and Cal State Fullerton before signing with WWE.
