Former WWE main roster talent trademarks ring name
Elizabeth Chihaia, better known to wrestling fans as Scarlett, has filed to trademark her ring name.
The US Patent and Trademark Office website shows that attorney Timothy J. Bechen submitted documents on December 8 on behalf of Chihaia to trademark the name “Scarlett” for wrestling purposes.
Although Scarlett has previously wrestled under the name Scarlett Bordeaux, she appears to have only filed to trademark Scarlett.
Purposes of the filing are listed as “Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer.”
WWE previously held a trademark for Scarlett from April 18, 2020 to April 18, 2022. The company appears to have abandoned the mark after Kross and Scarlett were released in November 2021 and never re-filed. WWE has an active trademark for the name Karrion Kross, while a company named Oscorp & Kross, Inc. has held a Killer Kross trademark for wrestling purposes since 2023.
Scarlett returned to the ring in October for the first time since WWE’s 2024 Holiday Tour. She defeated Isla Dawn at MLW’s show in Charleston on November 20.
