FS1 suspends studio show production, next WWE Backstage included

Next week’s WWE Backstage is being affected by FS1 suspending production on their studio shows.

FOX Sports issued a statement today announcing that production on FS1’s live studio shows are being suspended through at least next Friday:

Out of an abundance of caution, we have made the decision to suspend production of our live FS1 daily studio shows through at least Friday, March 20.

Our top priority is the health and safety of our employees. We will continue to monitor the situation and adjust accordingly.

The WWE on FOX Twitter account then confirmed that Backstage is impacted by the decision: “This includes #WWEBackstage. We will be sure to update the @WWE Universe as soon as we know more.”

Appearances by CM Punk and NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley had been announced for next Tuesday’s episode of Backstage. It was set to be Punk’s fifth appearance as an analyst on Backstage and the first time he’s been on the show since February 11.

WWE Backstage airs on FS1 at 11 p.m. Eastern time on Tuesday nights.
