Gable Steveson improves to 3-0 in MMA with win at MFL 3
Gable Steveson has picked up another mixed martial arts victory.
The Olympic gold medalist and two-time NCAA champion defeated Hugo Lezama in the main event of Mexican Fight League 3, which took place on Thursday, February 19 at the Showcenter Complex in Monterrey, Mexico.
Steveson picked up the victory at 3:50 of the first round via TKO. He did suffer some adversity during the fight, however, when Lezama made contact with a head kick at 1:30 of the first round.
Steveson now holds a 3-0 record in his MMA career. He defeated Braden Peterson at 1:38 of the first round on September 12, 2025, and Kevin Hein at 0:24 of the first round on November 23, 2025. In addition to his MMA bouts, he also defeated Billy Swanson at 0:15 of the first round in a Dirty Boxing event held on October 30, 2025.
