Great American Bash title rematch, Reina Volcan in-ring debut set for next WWE NXT
A big Great American Bash rematch is set for next week.
It was confirmed on Tuesday that Naraku will get another shot at the NXT Championship next week. Meanwhile, Nattie and Jaida Parker will square off again, Saquon Shugars will take on DarkState in a six-man tag team match, and Reina Volcan will make her in-ring debut.
After Naraku defeated Tate Wilder on Tuesday, D’Angelo ran to the ring. Security broke things up, but the brawl continued. Later backstage, D’Angelo said he wanted Naraku in the ring. Robert Stone said he’d give him the rematch next week, but D’Angelo said he wouldn’t wait seven more days.
The end of this week’s show saw D’Angelo and Naraku brawl in the parking lot. A flustered Robert Stone responded by making next week’s title match a street fight.
Shugars spent most of the show looking for tag team partners, but found himself out of luck, with most not willing to forget his Darkstate past. Romeo Moreno and Noam Dar eventually agreed to team with him, however, as Romeo was looking for an opportunity to get noticed.
Nattie jumped Parker backstage on Tuesday, setting up their match. Volcan, meanwhile, will take on former LFG winner Skylar Rae. Shawn Spears, fresh off of being attacked by Niko Vance, called him out for next week.
