Hornswoggle signs WWE Legends deal

Dylan Postl, aka Hornswoggle, has signed a WWE Legends deal.
He shared the announcement on Friday night during an ACW Wisconsin show. He joins Jesse Ventura, Diamond Dallas Page, Armando Alejandro Estrada, and Jacqueline as those who have recently signed similar contracts.
Swoggle told the crowd:
“I want to break this news to you guys because you guys have supported me throughout my entire career whether it’s in WWE, whether it’s returning to this building, you guys have always supported me. So, I thought you guys should be the first to know, as of last week, I signed a WWE Legends contract. Thank you to each and every one of you for supporting me, for having my back, for believing in me, this is for each and every one of you. Thank you, guys.”
Hornswoggle made his WWE debut on the May 26, 2006, episode of WWE SmackDown as Fit Finlay’s leprechaun run-in buddy. His character was later portrayed as the illegitimate son of Vince McMahon. As the storyline continued, however, it was later revealed that he was Finlay’s son.
Hornswoggle was also the final WWE Cruiserweight Champion. He won the title from Chavo Guerrero at The Great American Bash in 2007 in a six-man cruiserweight open. Jimmy Wang Yang, Shannon Moore, Funaki, and Jamie Knoble were the other wrestlers in the match. SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero officially retired the title two months later.
