Hulk Hogan’s widow planning medical malpractice lawsuit

Hulk Hogan’s widow Sky Daily is planning to file a medical malpractice lawsuit concerning an operation the wrestling icon underwent shortly before his death.

The Daily Mail and TMZ both reported on the lawsuit plans today, with TMZ writing that Daily intends to sue “at least one of [Hogan’s] doctors and others” for malpractice that Daily believes led to his death. Hogan underwent neck surgery in May and experienced several weeks of complications prior to his July 24 passing at 71 years old.

Cardiac arrest was listed as Hogan’s official cause of death, but Daily believes this alleged malpractice contributed to his passing. Daily says Hogan’s phrenic nerve was “compromised” during the May surgery. The phrenic nerve controls your diaphragm and is essential to the breathing process.

Hogan and Daily were married in September 2023, with Daily being Hogan’s third wife after previous marriages to Linda Hogan (Claridge) and Jennifer McDaniel.

This week, Hogan’s daughter Brooke got some closure as she visited her father’s body at the funeral home where it is currently located. Brooke thanked Daily for being “super sweet” and cooperative with her, and she also thanked the police department in Clearwater, Florida for being transparent with her regarding their investigation into Hogan’s death.
