An incident involving Jey Uso and rapper Cam’Ron took place on Thursday, though it is unclear whether the exchange was legitimate or staged.

Uso was a guest on It Is What It Is with Cam’Ron and Ma$e on Thursday. Cam’Ron took shots at Uso for not being as good a wrestler as others in his family and for his match at WrestleMania being on the Saturday show rather than the Sunday. This led to Uso leaving the interview and physically throwing the rapper to the ground.

The situation began to get heated when Uso answered a question about his family.

“There’s so many heavy hitters in my family, like my dad, Yokozuna, Rock…I wouldn’t say I’m above like Roman Reigns…”

Cam’Ron then interjected:

“Yeah because you not.”

Ma$e then asked Uso where he thinks he ranks in his family, and if he feels he ranks higher than The Rock. Uso specifically said he would not rank himself higher than The Rock.

“I feel like I’m up there with him, but I got a lot to grow.”

Cam then asked Uso if anyone had ever “tried him” in public. Uso gave Cam a long stare before answering:

“Yeah they have, Uce.”

Uso did not respond after Cam asked how it went.

Uso was then asked about his upcoming match at WrestleMania involving popular YouTube stars IShowSpeed and Logan Paul. Asked about wrestling against YouTubers, Uso said:

“They can get slapped, too. Yeah, you want to try?”

Cam responded:

“Let me ask you this cause I don’t know where we are going with this, but let me try and stick to the script.”

Uso then asked:

“Damn, Uce, did you want me on the show or what?”

Later in the exchange, Cam said:

“Do you have anything else to say? Because I don’t smell what the Uce is cooking.”

He then added:

“You looking at me like it’s a problem.”

Uso responded:

“You coming off a little disrespectful.”

Cam said:

“No, I think you’re coming off as a little disrespectful in my house a little bit.”

Cam later continued:

“I have much love for your family. I think your family is wrestling royalty. When you say you wrestle as good as The Rock, I got a problem with that. I just can’t respect it.”

Cam then said he would be watching WrestleMania Sunday but not Saturday. Uso got up and, as he was walking past Cam, reached out and grabbed onto him, pulling him to the ground. At that point, others stepped in and broke up the scuffle quickly. Cam was shown laying on the ground covering his head as Uso was being taken away.

After the show came back, it was revealed that Ma$e called security on Uso during the scuffle.
