Next week’s WWE SmackDown lineup
John Cena’s return to WWE SmackDown is part of the advertised lineup for the Friday, August 22 episode.
After missing this week’s show, Cena will be back for next Friday’s SmackDown in Dublin, Ireland as the build to his Clash in Paris PLE match against Logan Paul continues. That bout is set for Sunday, August 31.
Two matches are also official for next week’s episode.
R-Truth and Aleister Black will also continue their rivalry on next week’s show in singles competition. The bout is a rematch from the July 11 SmackDown where Truth stole a flash pin over Black.
SmackDown’s tag team division will also be spotlighted on next week’s episode with Motor City Machine Guns facing Melo don’t Miz.
