John Cena vs. R-Truth rematch set for next week’s WWE SmackDown
John Cena and R-Truth will run it back on the June 20 WWE SmackDown.
In a rematch from last month’s Saturday Night’s Main Event, Cena will face Ron “R-Truth” Killings on next Friday’s SmackDown. The rematch stems from multiple segments on this week’s SmackDown episode where Killings attacked Cena.
The King and Queen of the Ring tournaments will also continue on next week’s SmackDown with a semifinals matchup from each.
In the King of the Ring, Sami Zayn will face Randy Orton with the winner moving on to the King of the Ring finals set for Night of Champions on June 28. Orton advanced on this week’s SmackDown with a win over Carmelo Hayes, LA Knight, and Aleister Black.
In the Queen of the Ring, Alexa Bliss is set to take on the winner of Monday’s Asuka vs. Stephanie Vaquer vs. Raquel Rodriguez vs. Ivy Nile matchup with a spot in the finals at stake. Bliss advanced on Friday’s show with a win over Charlotte Flair, Alba Fyre, and Candice LeRae.
