John Cena wrestles in final WWE Raw appearance

There are no more Raw appearances for John Cena.

In what was his final match on Monday Night Raw, Cena teamed up with Rey Mysterio and Sheamus to defeat The Judgement Day (Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, and Dominik Mysterio) in a six-man tag team match. Cena picked up the win for his team, pinning McDonagh with the AA.

The new Intercontinental Champion opened Raw on Monday but was immediately cut off by Dominik Mysterio, angry at his loss last week. He wanted a rematch on his own turf: Survivor Series in San Diego. Cena agreed to the match, but said he also said he’d wrestle tonight and offered Mysterio a one-on-one match. Finn Balor and JD McDonagh entered and immediately targeted Cena. However, Sheamus and Rey came down for the save, and the impromptu six-man tag started soon after.

Cena is winding down his career as there are now only two more appearances left for him. After the Intercontinental title match at Survivor Series, his final match will take place at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13. He will face the winner of a tournament currently taking place across both Raw and SmackDown.
