Though he was one of the first names announced for the show, Kevin Nash won't be in New York City for Raw's 25th anniversary episode.
"Was so looking forward to being a part of RAW 25," Nash wrote on Twitter tonight. "It's nearly impossible to travel on our down sized airlines healthy. With a total knee replacement it would be self inflicted torture. See ya everyone at Mania."
Nash underwent major knee surgery in early December.
As further confirmation, Nash has also been removed from WWE's list of wrestlers who will be appearing on this coming Monday's anniversary show. Scott Hall, who Nash had been advertised with, is still listed.
Roman Reigns defending his Intercontinental Championship against The Miz is the only match that's been announced for Monday. Raw 25 will be the go-home show for the Royal Rumble and will take place at the Manhattan Center and Barclays Center, with Brock Lesnar and John Cena both scheduled for the episode.
