Kevin Owens will deliver a message to Roman Reigns on next week’s SmackDown.
Owens confronted Paul Heyman on this week's episode of Talking Smack. Heyman told Owens that he had enraged Reigns, but also lauded Owens for outsmarting him. Owens dismissed Heyman's praise and told him that he would deliver a message to Reigns, face to face, on next week’s SmackDown.
This comes following the events of this week's SmackDown. Reigns and Adam Pearce had a contract signing for what was supposed to be a last man standing match between the two at the Royal Rumble on January 31. Both men signed the contract. As Pearce walked up the ramp, he started to limp. He said that a knee injury was bothering him, and as a result he had the right to find a suitable replacement. That ended up being Kevin Owens, who signed the contract, angering Reigns.
Also announced for next week’s SmackDown is a Intercontinental title match between champion Big E and challenger Apollo Crews. Additionally, Bayley and Bianca Belair will compete in an obstacle course challenge.
