Kevin Owens to miss remainder of WWE’s South American tour

Kevin Owen’s won’t be appearing at WWE’s three remaining house shows in South America this weekend.

WWE announced the news on their website today, citing personal reasons as to why Owens won’t be at the shows in Argentina and Chile. Owens did travel to South America with the SmackDown roster and wrestled at last night’s event in Buenos Aires, Argentina before missing the rest of the tour.

Owens took part in a triple threat match for the United States Championship in Buenos Aries last night. Baron Corbin defeated Tye Dillinger and Owens in the match to retain his title.

WWE will be back in Buenos Aires again tonight for another show at Luna Park. The tour will then conclude with stops at the Movistar Arena in Santiago, Chile on Saturday and Sunday before the roster flies back home to the United States for Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
