Kit Wilson says it would be a ‘different’ Pretty Deadly if Elton Prince returns
Kit Wilson has shared in detail the fate of his tag-team Pretty Deadly upon the return of Elton Prince from his injury.
Recently speaking on Complex Graps podcast, Wilson claimed that it will be a “different” Pretty Deadly if Prince returns. Prince suffered an injury last year in May, 2025 on SmackDown during their match against Fraxiom. Out of action since then, Wilson recently noted that there is a “big question mark” surrounding his comeback.
“We were teaming before we joined the company, it was always us against the world, it didn’t matter to us where we were on this journey because we had each other, that was our bond. There’s a big question mark over that now due to the injury and whether he’ll be able to return as a competitor, maybe something else, it’s a question,” Wilson shared.
“But if he returns you know we’re getting back together and we’re gonna have a big celebration, we’re gonna tell the world. But I think it’d be a different Pretty Deadly. I’ve grown as a singles competitor, and it’s not that I’d be stepping back, because I love everything we did with Pretty Deadly, but everyone evolves.
“I think Elton’s even evolving now. We all grow up, we mature, so I think we’ll see a new Pretty Deadly and probably a Pretty Deadly that’s better than ever. I think it’s a new evolution, but also I would love to see Elton grow himself as a competitor, which we will see if he returns, in singles competition as well, we’ll always support each other.
Teasing a managerial role for both of them, Wilson added, “It’s just, if we went into the singles world, I’d happily manage him and he’d happily manage me.”
Having undergone successful surgery and recovering, there are currently no confirmed updates on Prince’s return. While Prince has been out of action, Wilson has been experiencing a successful singles run.
