Kurt Angle wrestling at WWE house show in Birmingham, England

Prior to wrestling at Survivor Series later this month, Kurt Angle will be in action in Birmingham, England today.

Though he was previously announced as just making an appearance at the event, Angle confirmed in a tweet today that he would be wrestling in Birmingham. He wrote: “Birmingham UK!!! WWE Raw is here! My first ‘WWE live event’ in 11 years, in which I will be wrestling. #itstrue”

Angle took part in his first WWE match in over a decade last month as he teamed with Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose at TLC. He filled in for Roman Reigns at that pay-per-view, with WWE having to find replacements for Reigns on their European tour as well. Triple H, Rollins & Ambrose took on Cesaro, Sheamus & Bray Wyatt at Raw’s first five stops in the United Kingdom.

Angle will captain one of Raw’s teams at Survivor Series on November 19th, with the match currently scheduled to be Angle, Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, Samoa Joe & Jason Jordan vs. Shane McMahon, Randy Orton, Bobby Roode, Shinsuke Nakamura & a partner that has yet to be announced.
