Legado del Fantasma set for action on WWE 205 Live
Legado del Fantasma’s Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde are set for action on tonight’s episode of 205 Live.
WWE has announced that Mendoza & Wilde vs. Leon Ruff & Liam Gray will air on tonight’s 205 Live. This will be the first time Mendoza and Wilde have wrestled since joining Legado del Fantasma.
Ruff and Gray have been part of The Skulk in EVOLVE. It was confirmed yesterday that EVOLVE has been acquired by WWE.
After angles where they were abducted by masked kidnappers in the parking lot, Mendoza and Wilde were revealed as the masked men who helped Santos Escobar defeat Drake Maverick in the finals of NXT’s Cruiserweight Championship tournament.
Legado del Fantasma (Escobar, Mendoza & Wilde) will face Maverick & Breezango in a six-man tag match at NXT’s Great American Bash night two on Wednesday. That was set up when Breezango saved Maverick from Legado del Fantasma at Great American Bash night one.
Isaiah “Swerve” Scott vs. Ever-Rise’s Matt Martel is also set for tonight’s 205 Live. Scott defeated Tony Nese on 205 Live last week and said he wants a shot at Escobar’s title.
