Liv Morgan feared being fired from WWE following her 2023 arrest

A few years ago, in 2023, Liv Morgan was arrested in Florida for possession of marijuana and synthetic marijuana vape. Shortly after, her mugshots went viral, and Morgan became a talking point on the internet. Recently appearing on What’s Your Story? With Steph McMahon, Morgan reflected on the incident and revealed how she feared losing her WWE job following the arrest.

Right away, I’m like, ‘I am gonna get fired.’ I am so upset, ‘I’m gonna get fired. I spent my whole life being good. I get arrested one time, and it’s not even my fault (the possession of her friend’s synthetic marijuana vape in her car; a felony in Florida), even though it is. I am gonna get fired.'”

And the thing I thought the most was like, you know, the community work we do here. I love doing community work. I always get chosen to do the community work. I’ll not be able to do the community work,” Morgan continued. “I am like, ‘so sad, work’s gonna fire me, and I just ruined everything. I spent my whole life for this one goal, and now everything is squandered.’ I was so upset.

Morgan further revealed that she bailed herself out of the situation as she went on to narrate the rest of the incident.

I bailed myself out of jail, which is why I’m not in the orange [jumpsuit], because they were like, ‘Are you going to be bailed out?’ I was like, ‘Yes, I will be bailing myself out.’ Well, I mean, I had called my mom and was like, ‘Mom, if you can wire the money, let’s go. Get me out of here.’ Like this was my fund; I pretty much bailed myself out of jail.”
