Liv Morgan returns at WWE Survivor Series, updated WrestleMania 42 promo airs
Liv Morgan is officially back in WWE.
After almost five months away from in-ring action, she made her official return at Saturday’s WWE Survivor Series just as Dominik Mysterio appeared to be on the verge of losing to John Cena.
Morgan shocked the crowd as she returned in the final moments of the match. While she initially slapped Mysterio, the momentum quickly shifted when she turned on Cena instead, low-blowing and deceiving him. Mysterio followed the low blow with a 619 and frog splash to take home the victory and the Intercontinental title.
Later on, the updated WrestleMania 42 ad with the female talent aired featuring Morgan in it.
The match also saw Mysterio fake an injury, take help from Roxanne Perez, Raquel Rodriguez, JD McDonagh, and Finn Balor. However, all of these attempts to help failed before Morgan did the unthinkable.
He finished the night with his second Intercontinental Championship victory and Morgan in his arms. He is now again officially a double champion with the AAA Mega Championship and Intercontinental title.
