Logan Paul to compete in WWE SmackDown MITB qualifying match

Next Friday, Logan Paul will wrestle on SmackDown for just the second time ever.

WWE has announced a Money in the Bank qualifying match with Paul vs. LA Knight vs. Santos Escobar for next week’s SmackDown from Madison Square Garden. Two women’s Money in the Bank qualifying matches will also take place on the episode. They are Jade Cargill vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Candice LeRae and Naomi vs. Blair Davenport vs. Indi Hartwell.

July 6 is the date for Money in the Bank. Jey Uso, Carmelo Hayes, and Andrade have qualified for the men’s ladder match so far. IYO SKY and Chelsea Green have qualified for the women’s ladder match.

If Paul were to qualify, it would be his second straight year competing in Money in the Bank.

Paul and Knight are currently feuding with each other, which is expected to lead to Paul defending his United States title against Knight at SummerSlam this August.

On SmackDown tonight, Paul initially didn’t show up when Knight called him out. Escobar instead confronted Knight and tried to attack him, but Knight hit Escobar with the BFT. Paul then launched a blindside attack on Knight and knocked him out.
