Drew McIntyre segment announced for WWE Raw

A segment involving Drew McIntyre is slated for Monday’s episode of Raw.

WWE has announced that McIntyre will be The Miz’s guest on Miz TV this Monday. The segment comes after McIntyre defeated Jey Uso in the main event of the most recent episode of Raw. Following the match, McIntyre hesitated to save Jey from a Judgment Day attack.

Judgment Day had recently been attempting to recruit Jey into their ranks. They interfered to help Jey during his match against McIntyre, but Jey made the decision to reject Judgment Day. He took out Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio, and Finn Balor with superkicks. But with Jey’s attention turned away, McIntyre capitalized on the situation by dropping Jey with a Claymore and pinning him to win the match.

In storyline, McIntyre doesn’t trust Jey because of his past association with The Bloodline.

McIntyre had the chance to save Jey from a Judgment Day beatdown after their match. But when McIntyre hesitated, Cody Rhodes ran out and saved Jey instead.

McIntyre’s tag team partner Matt Riddle was released by WWE on Friday.

An appearance by Rhodes will kick off Monday’s Raw, which is being held at Toyota Arena in Ontario, California. Here’s everything that’s been announced for the episode:

  • Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions The Judgment Day (Finn Balor & Damian Priest) defend against Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn
  • NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio defends against Dragon Lee
  • Shinsuke Nakamura responds to Seth Rollins
  • Bronson Reed vs. Otis
  • Tommaso Ciampa vs. Ludwig Kaiser
  • Miz TV with Drew McIntyre
  • Cody Rhodes will kick off the show
