Naomi & Jimmy Uso announce pregnancy, Women’s World title vacated on WWE Raw

Proceed with caution, there’s a baby on board.

On Raw, Naomi came out and showed a clip of a What’s Your Story podcast with Stephanie McMahon that will drop immediately after Raw. It was there that she and husband Jimmy Uso announced they are expecting their first child together.

In her promo that took place after, Naomi remained in character and told Adam Pearce that she had to hand over a title once, but this time declared “I ain’t handing you s***,” telling him to exit the ring.

Naomi said that the locker room had her husband to thank because otherwise she was going to spend the next year putting them down on the ground. But on the bright side, she concluded, the Bloodline would continue. She ended the promo by putting the title on the ground and said she would be back in nine months, even if she had to return breastfeeding with her child in her arm. She advised whoever will be champion when she returns to proceed with caution.

After she made her way to the back, she was congratulated by Triple H:

The now former champion had won the title last month at Evolution, and retained the title at SummerSlam by defeating Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY in a triple threat match. She was pulled from a title defense against IYO SKY on last week’s Raw, with WWE announcing at the time she was not medically cleared.

Michael Cole after the segment said that more information regarding the Women’s World title scene would become known next week. Naomi was originally set to defend the title against Stephanie Vaquer at Clash in Paris on August 31.
