New announcements made for WWE SmackDown

The WWE SmackDown lineup for tonight has some new additions.

With the company’s European tour now over, WWE is back in the United States as the build to WrestleMania continues. CM Punk, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins are all set to appear live tonight — one week after it was confirmed that their triple threat match will headline WrestleMania 41 night one.

Tonight’s SmackDown is a homecoming for Punk with the show taking place at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.

A Tag Team title number one contender’s match has been added to tonight’s show with Motor City Machine Guns taking on DIY. The winning team will be next in line for a shot at WWE Tag Team Champions The Street Profits.

It’s also been officially confirmed that the winner of Jacob Fatu vs. Braun Strowman will become the number one contender to LA Knight’s United States title.
