New match & stipulation added to WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event
A new match is set for Saturday Night’s Main Event, while another match has a new stipulation.
Bayley will meet Lyra Valkyria after the latter viciously turned against the former champion on a recent episode of Raw. It was also confirmed that the match between JD McDonagh and Danhausen will now be a no disqualification match.
The two met face-to-face on this week’s show after Bayley called out Valkyria in a vignette last week. Valkyria appeared looking disheveled as Bayley demanded an apology. Valkyria instead demanded one from Bayley, accusing her of holding her back. Valkyria told Bayley she wasn’t a locker room leader instead calling her a doormat and the worst of the Four Horsewomen.
Bayley told Valkyria that she would beat her at Saturday Night’s Main Event, adding that victory to her long list of accomplishments. Valkyria responded by attacking Bayley as she was leaving, giving her a belly-to-belly suplex to end the segment.
Bayley and Valkyria had been teaming for most of the last year but recently suffered a string of losses ahead of the Women’s Tag Team title match.
