A new match has been added to the lineup for Monday’s edition of WWE Raw.

Penta vs. Rusev in a number one contenders match for the Intercontinental Championship is now scheduled for the show. Raw General Manager Adam Pearce announced the news in a video on Sunday.

“We will establish a number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship when Rusev goes one-on-one with Penta,” Pearce says in the video.

In his rundown of the lineup for tomorrow’s show, Pearce did not mention the Women’s tag team title match between champions Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair against Bayley and Lyra Valkyria that was announced on Friday’s SmackDown.

Both Penta and Rusev have dropped multiple Intercontinental title matches to Dominik Mysterio in recent weeks. Rusev come up empty handed in two previous title matches, having lost to Dominik on the September 29 and October 20 episodes of Raw. Penta lost to Dominik on the October 13 Raw and then again on the October 18 live event in Japan.

Monday’s show is scheduled for the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
