New match, National Anthem performer set for WWE SummerSlam
A new match is set for SummerSlam.
Dominik Mysterio will face Danhausen following the events of this week’s Raw. Meanwhile, the performer for the National Anthem for SummerSlam Sunday has been named.
During Monday’s show, the Judgement Day continually tried to get Danhausen to give them their money back. Shenanigans ensued instead, leading to a quick match where Oba Femi defeated JD McDonagh. Later, when Dominik Mysterio wrestled Joe Hendry, Danhausen and IYO SKY came out to distract Mysterio. While SKY took care of Liv Morgan at ringside, Danhausen laid out Mysterio with the Danhausen Death Drop, allowing Hendry to score the win.
Meanwhile, it was announced that Hootie & The Blowfish frontman Darius Rucker would perform the National Anthem at SummerSlam on Sunday, August 2.
