New matches & segments announced for WWE Raw
New matches and segments are set for WWE Raw.
GM Adam Pearce announced on Sunday that Seth Rollins would be opening the show, and both Danhausen and Chad Gable would be appearing. In addition, Jacob Fatu will wrestle LA Knight.
Rollins appeared at the end of Saturday Night’s Main Event, interrupting a segment featuring his SummerSlam opponent Roman Reigns and Knicks star Jalen Brunson, who helped Reigns avoid an attack from Rollins causing the latter (along with Tyrese Haliburton) to retreat.
Danhausen had better luck at SNME, defeating JD McDonagh thanks to help from Karl-Anthony Towns. The Knicks star came out and chokeslammed both McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio, allowing Danhausen to score the win in the no disqualification match.
Chad Gable became the number one contender for the Intercontinental title on last week’s Raw, winning a gauntlet match. Fatu and Knight, meanwhile, will battle ahead of their six-man tag team match at SummerSlam.
