New WWE 2K26 features & unlockables revealed
With less than a month left for WWE 2K26’s release, the promotion recently hosted the Creator Fest, ahead of which several new details about the game were revealed.
The recently released Ringside Report focused on WWE 2K26’s MyRise campaign mode. This year’s MyRise mode will offer players a single campaign to play, either as a male or female Superstar, known as ‘The Archetype.’ Themed as ‘The Comeback,’ the story will have players create Superstar’s return to WWE, only to come face-to-face with Paul Heyman’s clients, Bron Breakker/Jordynne Grace.
This year’s MyRise mode advances its predecessor’s Live Event Match system into the brand-new RISE matches. Instead of acting as bonus matches, RISE matches will blend into the story’s main progression timeline. Completing these matches will help the players progress as well as earn unlockables.
Unlike the previous games, this year’s MyRise does not end at the campaign’s conclusion. Instead, it gives players the free authority to continue their career, challenge for titles, or defend them.
This year, there are several rewards for completing both journeys, including new playable characters, MyFACTION content, weapons, arenas, and more. Some of the unlockable playable characters include Dusty Rhodes, Bronze Breakker, Juggernaut Grace, ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt, CM Punk from the indies, and several more. The reward list also includes unlockable MyRise characters from the previous games.
The recently concluded Creator Fest, which took place, was attended by streamers, content creators, journalists, and even WWE wrestlers.
CM Punk, Chelsea Green, Xavier Woods, Trish Stratus, Blake Monroe, Ethan Page, and more WWE stars were present at the event, attending interviews, meet & greets, and gaming sessions. Content from the Creator Fest is expected to launch soon after the embargo begins.
WWE 2K26 will release on March 6th, 2026, on PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam).
