Nia Jax coronation, Cody Rhodes appearance announced for WWE SmackDown
WWE has announced the first two segments for the Friday, May 31 SmackDown episode.
After defeating Lyra Valkyria in the tournament finals at last Saturday’s PLE, Nia Jax will have her Queen of the Ring coronation ceremony on Friday’s SmackDown.
Jax powered through Naomi, Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair, and Valkyria en route to winning this year’s Queen of the Ring tournament.
An appearance by Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes is also set for Friday’s episode.
Rhodes retained his title with a victory over United States Champion Logan Paul at King & Queen of the Ring in a bout where Paul’s title was not on the line. In a video promo for Friday’s episode, WWE has teased that we will find out what is next for Rhodes on Friday’s show:
