Nikki Bella appears to suffer injury during WWE SmackDown
Nikki Bella appears to be injured.
During SmackDown on Friday, The Bella Twins wrestled Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss. However at some point during the match, according to Bryan Alvarez, Nikki Bella apparently got hurt.
“Not sure the severity but Nikki Bella appeared to suffer some sort of leg injury while brawling off screen with Nia Jax before the finish of their tag match on SmackDown,” he writes. “She was limping and had Nia throw her outside afterwards and never got into the ring again, and the doctor was over checking on her for the rest of the segment. Hopefully she’s ok.”
Brie scored the pinfall win for her team before Lash & Jax entered and proceeded to assault both teams, something that they had been doing for the last several weeks. Bayley and Lyra Valkryria, who are set to challenge the champions on Raw this coming Monday, ran down for the save.
The title scene in recent weeks on SmackDown has revolved around Bliss & Flair and the Bella Twins attempting to take down The Irresistible Forces, with both teams getting title matches but ultimately coming up short. Jax and Legend have proven dominant, repeatedly laying out both teams with WrestleMania only a few weeks away.
