Update on recent Nikkita Lyons rumor

Nikkita Lyons on WWE Main Event May 2026

It was recently rumored that Nikkita Lyons would be making her way up to the main roster this summer. The rumor came from Rope Break/TRNBCKL Gold (previously affiliated with BodySlam) and claimed that Lyons is potentially going to make her way up to the main roster at some point this summer:

One name that was mentioned recently for a potential call up to the main roster this summer is none other than Nikkita Lyons, with some suggesting that she would move from NXT to Monday Night Raw.

Latest on Nikkita Lyons

That rumor now appears to have been disputed by a new report from False Finish. Cory Hays of False Finish (and formerly at BodySlam) wrote the following:

False Finish has learned that WWE officials have been impressed with the work of Nikkita Lyons since her return from injury. However, Lyons is not expected to be headed to the main roster in the foreseeable future. Lyons will continue working in both EVOLVE and NXT.

Lyons has been in WWE for quite some time now. In fact, her in-ring debut took place at the December 31, 2021 episode of the now defunct show 205 Live.
