Notes on WWE 2K26 1.04 patch update

Days before the official WWE 2K26 worldwide launch, 2K released their new set of patch 1.04 update.

Days after the early access release and the patch 1.03 update, developers have now come forward with the brand new patch 1.04, which has brought improvements to the overall gameplay performance and stability alongside changes for Ringside Pass.

The following notes are from 2K26’s official support website:

  • Custom Matches will now award RXP
  • RXP earn rates for matches increased by 20% – Match Complete: 25 (current) > 30 & Match Win Bonus: 85 (current) > 105
  • Minimum match time requirement added for Match Win RXP rewards – If a match is completed faster than 60 seconds, players will receive completion RXP, but not additional win bonuses.

Some of the other updates that patch 1.04 will fix are:

  • Gameplay stability and performance improvements
  • Addressed reported concerns over the 2K account linking occasionally not working
  • Addressed reported concerns over earnable RXP
  • Addressed reported concerns over Game Pass subscriptions being required to access The Island and MyFaction
  • Addressed reported concerns with Dominik Mysterio’s reward mask
  • Addressed reported concerns of various attacks not working as intended
  • Addressed reported concerns over performance issues when playing The Island

The updates went live for PS5, Xbox Series X, and Steam on March 11, 2026, while Nintendo Switch 2 players need to wait till March 30 for the update to become live.

Early access players can enjoy the game while Standard edition players need to wait till March 13, 2026, for the game to officially release.
