Number one contender’s match announced for next week’s WWE Raw

Gunther’s next Intercontinental Championship challenger will be decided in a fatal four-way on next week’s WWE Raw.

As revealed during this week’s episode, Ricochet, The Miz, “Big” Bronson Reed, and Ivar will square off in a four-way to determine the number one contender to the IC title on the Monday, November 6 edition of WWE Raw.

Gunther was involved in an in-ring promo segment with The Miz on this week’s show, while Ricochet was given the opportunity by on-screen authority figure Adam Pearce after JD McDonagh interfered in Ricochet’s match on Raw. Reed and Ivar were inserted into the match by going to Pearce and asserting their desire to challenge for the title in backstage segments this week.

Also announced for November 6, Shinsuke Nakamura will face Akira Tozawa. Tozawa has been loosely aligned with Alpha Academy in recent weeks, stepping up to face Reed and now Nakamura in an effort to endear himself to the group.

Next week’s Raw will also feature fallout from Saturday’s Crown Jewel pay-per-view.

The lineup for Monday, November 6th’s WWE Raw:

  • Intercontinental Championship number one contender’s match: Ricochet vs. The Miz vs. “Big” Bronson Reed vs. Ivar
  • Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Akira Tozawa
