AAA wrestler stretchered out of TV taping, status unclear for Worlds Collide
Octagon Jr. appears to have been injured at AAA’s TV taping in Monterrey on Sunday.
He was teaming with Laredo Kid in a triple threat match for the AAA Tag Team titles against WWE’s Los Garza and champions Pagano & Psycho Clown. It’s not clear what led to the injury, but Octagon Jr. was stretchered from ringside, and multiple reports suggest he may have suffered a concussion.

“Over on the WWE Mexico show Octagon Jr looked to have gotten concussed at the end of his match. The culprit is of course Pagano. Not the first time, won’t be the last. Didn’t get an update but Octagon Jr didn’t leave under his own power.”
Octagon Jr. is scheduled for WWE x AAA Worlds Collide on September 12, where he is advertised to team with La Parka (Brazo de Oro Jr.), Mascarita Sagrada & Nino Hamburguesa vs. Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde, Lince Dorado & Mini Abismo Negro.
The current Octagon Jr. is the third incarnation of the character, debuting under the gimmick in April 2024. He made his WWE main roster debut at Money in the Bank, unsuccessfully challenging Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship.
